"Warren Roberts and the team from YARN Australia have successfully facilitated discussions, Q&A sessions and story telling. Their team has provided a cultural framework and have created an environment which gives people the opportunity to develop meaningful relationships and better understanding."

"On a personal note, I have thoroughly enjoyed and feel privileged to work with YARN Australia. By co-host-ing community events I have learned about our shared history and have been able to connect with many people from the wider community including First Nations people. I look forward to strengthening these relationships further and presenting more events with YARN Australia in the future."

“The work Warren is doing with YARN to establish an open dialogue and greater understanding between Original Sovereign Nations of Australia and non-Indigenous Australians is of utmost importance if we are to overcome the socio-political and environmental challenges of our time by engaging the collective wisdom of a unified and co-operative culture. Such wisdom calls us to respect our past, remain compassionately present and have the foresight to see beyond our own desires and make better decisions in service of all that will follow.”

“The whole concept of YARN is great because it’s so simple. To be able to get together and just have a ‘yarn’ about what it means to be in connection with the Original Sovereign Nations of Australia in an open and friendly environment was an amazing experience. It gave us the chance to connect with each other, and feel as though we had something to contribute. The Indigenous history of this country is so rich and deep - there is no end to what we can learn from each other just by listening and sharing.”

“I met Warren through the ‘With Goodesy Campaign’ back in 2016. Since then I’ve attended YARN events and have seen first hand the work that Warren and the YARN team do to promote intentional and meaningful dialogue between the Original Sovereign Nations of Australia and Non-Indigenous Australians. I wholeheartedly recommend you attend a YARN event where possible, as I believe it to be one of the most meaningful steps you can take as an Australian.”

“It has been an honour to witness YARN empower our local communities. We have experienced the importance in YARN’s facilitations of connections between the Original Sovereign Nations of Australia and Non-Indigenous people. Warren’s conversations ignite a fire deep within, generating a connection with ourselves, our land and the sentient beings that coexist with us. We are here to uplift, love and respect each other."
