YARN Australia's cultural events celebrate the incredible story of Australia being home to the oldest living culture on earth. We do this by inviting Original Sovereign Nations peoples of Australia to share their stories, music, dance, art and food in workplaces and public spaces across the country.
If your organisation is looking to host an event for Reconciliation Week, NAIDOC Week or any other time during the year, our team can help you coordinate and facilitate a unique experience.

Budjerah
Known mononymously as Budjerah, is an Aboriginal Australian singer-songwriter from Fingal Head, New South Wales. He is a Coodjinburra man from the Bundjalung nation. His debut single "Missing You" was released in October 2020.
2021 National Indigenous Music Awards
This year's New Talent of the Year award went to Budjerah, the 19-year-old soul sensation behind ‘Higher’ and ‘Missing You’. Since recording his debut EP with Matt Corby, he's racked up credits with PNAU, MAY-A, Ngaiire, and this is likely the first of many trophies for the young Coodjinburra man.

Isaiah Firebrace
Hailing from just outside Melbourne, along the banks of the Murray River, Isaiah first stepped into the spotlight in 2016 when he was crowned winner of the eighth season of The X Factor Australia. Since then he’s grabbed global attention for his #1 single ‘It's Gotta Be You’, which is now certified Platinum in Australia, 2 x Platinum in Sweden, Gold in Norway and Gold in Denmark.
2017 was a big year for Isaiah; he performed in the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest Grand Final with his single ‘Don’t Come Easy’, toured nationally with his friend & mentor Jessica Mauboy, and completed his first European press junket with stops across Scandinavia, the U.K., Belgium, and France. Isaiah’s music has been streamed over 200 million times worldwide.

Allara
Allara is a Yorta Yorta, musician, composer, and poet, along with being involved in the climate justice movement. Using her skill as a natural storyteller along with a double bass and loop station as the foundation of her musical exploration, Allara is inspired by ancient oral traditions, harnessing hard-hitting spoken-word taking the listener on a journey reflecting cultural, spiritual and environmental empowerment. Gently lulling audiences into a united chorus of unadorned melodies, her sound is unique and soul-stirring.
Emma Donovan
Emma Donovan is an acclaimed Indigenous Australian singer and songwriter best known for her work with soul bands, The Putbacks and The Black Arm Band project. She has also toured and recorded with Archie Roach and Ruby Hunter, Spinifex Gum, Christine Anu, Yothu Yindi, Jimmy Little and Paul Kelly among others. On her mother’s side, Emma is part of the famed Donovan family of singers of the Gumbaynggirr people, of what is now known as Northern New South Wales. On her Father’s side, Emma is of the Yamatji people, of what is now known as Western Australia.

Kobie Dee
Kobie Dee is a 24-year-old Gomeroi artist from Maroubra in South Sydney, Bidjigal Land.
With an innate gift for storytelling and connecting with young people, Kobie Dee is one of the exciting new voices in Australian hip hop.

Mo'Ju
Mojo Ruiz de Luzuriaga, known professionally as Mo'Ju, is an ARIA nominated Australian musician, best-known for her 2018 album Native Tongue and the lead single of the same title. The single won the Best Independent Single category in the 2019 AIR Awards. She is a singer-songwriter who has created music in a number of genres.
Mo'Ju has toured with international performers and her music has been featured in a number of television shows. Her identity is a matter of pride and she spoken publicly and through her music about being Wiradjuri, Filipino and queer.

J-Milla, often styled J-MILLA, is an Aboriginal Australian hip hop musician. He was born as Jacob Nichaloff in Darwin in the Northern Territory.

Jacob Paulson, known professionally as JK-47, is an Indigenous Australian rapper, musician, and activist from Tweed Heads South, New South Wales. His debut album, Made for This, was released independently on 4 September 2020.
